However, this year's participation of our friend Kurt Richter from Mexico was once again a challenge and adventure of a special kind, because the entire organization ran at the last minute.

At the 49th Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring from August 12 to 14, all Mercedes 300 SLs entered in the race of racing and sports cars up to model year 62 were placed among the top ten vehicles.

IT'S THE SOCIETY OF THE GROUP AND NOT THE WEATHER THAT MATTERS!
The 300 SL Club rally which was staged on the last weekend in August in Polling in cooperation with HK-ENGINEERING was a complete success despite the bad weather. As a result of the corona pandemic this year's annual 300 SL meeting could not take place and so a replacement "late summer trip" to Murnau on the Staffelsee lake in Bavaria was organized by the 300 SL Club.
