This beautiful 220 sedan was first delivered in July 1951 to its owner in the Upper Bavarian Bad-Tölz (Germany). After a full and well-documented restoration, the car was equipped with the modifications of the well-known 52 Monte-Carlo rally model, which had won the famous rally with Rudolf Caracciola and Herbert Kling at the wheel. So has the car next to the larger tank and the reinforced, wider brakes. The vehicle was now a few years in a large collection and was regularly moved and maintained professionally. In addition to many documents and the original operating instructions, there is also lot's of documentation and pictures of the restoration as well as invoices for maintenance. Technically and visually, the 220er is in fantastic condition! We deliver this beautiful sedan with new TÜV and H-approval.
