Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagode - 1970

This beautiful 280SL Pagoda was delivered in 1970 to its first owner in the USA, where the roadster will remain until 2016. Due to the very good substance of the body and technology the new owner decided to import it to Austria. There the pagoda was restored, the work carried out included a new paint job on bare metal in the classic silver-grey metallic DB180 as well as black leather upholstery and newly refurbished chrome. The soft top was reupholstered in black and the hardtop was restored. All wearing parts have been renewed as well as new tubes, tyres, steering, shock absorbers, seals and much more. The compression values of the engine are excellent! The automatic transmission including transmission converter and the injection pump have also been overhauled and are working perfectly.
